A number of people have been left injured following an accident involving a YY coaches bus registration number UBG 463C along Jinja road in Kampala today morning.

According to the Police Traffic Directorate Spokesperson Faridah Nampiima, the over-speeding bus was that was heading to Mbale from Kampala swerved off the road and overturned due to reckless driving.

Nampiima revealed that no other vehicle was involved in the accident, however three unidentified people were injured who were then rushed to hospital in a van belonging to YY Coaches.

She urged motorists to be cautious on the road and drive carefully adding that reckless driving is still the number one cause of accidents on Ugandan roads.
