Police at Northern City Division in Mbale City has arrested six people suspected to have been involved in drugs dealing.

John Byamugisha, the Northern City Division Police Commander said the suspects were arrested this morning, 8th December, 2022 during an operation carried out in Bujoloto, Nambozo, Kasanvu, Nakaloke and Juba.

According to the DPC during the operation they recovered  opium, marijuana, smart phones, iron bars, solido wires, and phone chargers among others in the suspects houses.

The suspects are currently detained at Mbale Central Police Station waiting to be taken to court.
