Passengers on a bus in Mbale City headed to Kampala were gripped with shock after a fellow passenger collapsed and died instantly.

The deceased Patrick Kusulo (80) was a resident of Bushika Bududa.

Its alleged that Kusulo was travelling to Kampala for treatment when he suddenly collapsed and died.

Rogers Taitika the Elgon region police spokesperson said the body was taken to Mbale city mortuary for postmortem.

He urged people to desist from moving or having journeys while they are sick.
