The managing director of National Water and Sewerage Corporation Dr Silver Mugisha, has revealed that the corporation is going to grant amnesty to the people who were disconnected because of illegal water connections.


He made the remarks while appearing on a local television station to throw more light on activities the National Water intends to undertake as it celebrates 50 years of existence.


Mugisha said as they celebrate this milestone, those who were disconnected because of illegal connection will be pardoned and attributed the corporation’s success to its hardworking staff, customers, support from the government, ministry of Water and Environment among many other stakeholders.
