The Ministry of Health has released 338 million shillings to the Kagadi district Ebola taskforce for response.

George Gulyetonda, the Kagadi district communications officer yesterday wednesday 19th,Oct,2022 said  that the money will be used by the Ebola taskforce in risk communication, facilitating health workers, case management and surveillance to curb the spread of Ebola in Kagadi district.

Paul Bahizi, the Kagadi district surveillance officer revealed that currently, they are closely monitoring three suspects who presented with symptoms similar to those of Ebola and that they have taken samples from them.

The samples were sent to Uganda Virus Research Institute for testing.
