Mbale residents cautioned to make use of emergency services

Road users have been cautioned to be more careful while on the road in order to reduce the contious rise in road accident.

Dr.Joseph Basajja an Emergence Technician with Uganda Redcross Society, said accidents can be minimised if people are more critical while using the road .

Dr. Basajja made the remarks today during the Time FM breakfast show dubbed the morning shake up , where he encouraged the general public to make use of the emergency free ambulence that has been provided by Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS) to save lives.

He  empasised that they pick patients from the accident scene free of charge and take them to the hospital for management.

Semakula Ali a  first aid provider said that people should clearly specify the location where the accident victim is so that the emergency medical service team can get to the scene on time.

Yonna mubeezi  another first aid provider warned the community against carrying causalities when they see the ambulace until the medical team has accesed the extent of damage on the patient.
