Mbale police is hunting for a driver of a Hopper Bus reg. no. UAV405E who allegedly  knocked dead a passenger in Mbale Bus park.

It’s alleged that the passenger was going to board another bus in the park when the Hopper bus passing next to a parked Gateway bus ended up knocking the somali national .

The victim died on the way to mbale regional refferal  hospital .

The deceased has been identified as Aboikadir  Abduliah Chichana 51yrs a resident of Gulu City .

Rogers Taitika the Elgon  regional police spokesperson confirmed the incident saying they are investigating how the late meet his death in this accident.

Taitika said the driver unidentified driver who escaped from the scene is on the run.
 as a hunt is on to have the driver arrested.
