Police in Northern City Division in Mbale City, have confirmed the arrest of a medical doctor accused of defiling and raping 12-year-old senior one student of Town Side High School.

According to John Byamugisha the District Police Commander (DPC) of Northern city division, the suspect has been working with St Andrews medical clinic situated at Bujoloto.

The DPC stated that the suspect was caught red-handed having intercourse with the minor in his remedy room.

DPC Byamugisha provides that the student was searching for a medical remedy by the college authorities however as a substitute discovered her sickness was used to control her into having sexual relations with the doctor.

The DPC said that the medical doctor is at present detained at Northern division central police station, he’s ready to be arraigned in courtroom to answer to charges of aggravated defilement and rape.
