Shock  gripped residents of Nafulungu Cell Kihuwuno Ward,Northern Division,Mbale City after a man attacked one of his neighbors killing him in the proccess.

The 25 year old man only identified as Mukama Nasuru a mechanic in Mbale City allegedly  attacked a one Isaya Gidudu and allegedly cut him several times on his head.

Gidudu died at  Mbale Regional referral Hospital, shorlty after arrival.

Bitter area residents later turned against Mukama and lynched him.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that  Mukama has been a drug abuser for a long time.

Rogers Taitika the Elgon region police spoekesperson said they are  investigating  what exactly transpired.Taitika urged the public to desist from mob action.
