Mbale City Council authorities have finally resolved the issue of who collects street parking fees.

There has been a dispute among the city authorities over the award of the street parking tender to Nalu Tours and Travels.
The dispute sacked in the the Mbale City Mayor Cassim Namugali,the industrial division mayor Muhamood Masaba,the town clerk David Kyasanku and the Resident City Commissioner Ahamada Washaki.

Mbale City Council public relations officer James Kutosi said the Nalu tour and travels Ltd, will now start collecting street parking fees.

Mr. Kutosi revealed that all differences resolved after a couple of meetings with all mayor’s and other city council authorities.
He said Nalu Tour and Travel Ltd will manage the collection of street parking fees for a period of six months.

Director of Nalu Tour and Travel Ltd Luzze Robert Kamya told the media that they will work for the good of the city.
