Police have been heavily deployed at Islamic University in Uganda’s main campus Mbale as law students plan a massive protest. One of the Law students at IUIU who preferred anonymity said that the students are angry with the Examination coordinator in the Faculty of Law who he identified as Hamida who has failed to do her work. The student revealed that since last semester, students have been complaining of Ms. Hamida for continuously misplacing students’ examination and tests results after they have struggled to make it through the tests and exams. He noted that students end up paying to have them retake the missing result exams. This has therefore forced the students to make a decision of staging a protest to have their view taken up by the University Administration and Law faculty.
