Electoral Commission close Head Office to relocate

The Electoral Commision has closed their head office to the General Public.
In a public notice signed by the Secretary , Electoral Commission Mulekwah leonard the changes take effect tommorow -Friday 16th Dec 2022.
The closure will enable the commision undertake the proccess of relocating the head office from the current premises on Plot 55 Jinja road,Kampala, to Plot 1-3/5 , Seventh Street ,Industrial Area,Kampala.
The commision further notes that the office of the new location will be opened to the general public on Monday 16th January 2023.
According to the commision, during the relocation period the registry will be open at the new premises on week days except public holidays that may fall on a week day.
