Police in Bukwo district is investigating circumstances under which a 65 year old man was brutally murderd. last night (Wednesday 19th ,Oct,2022) .

The deceased  identified as kokop Leonard aka meyishi a sabiny,was a peasant and resident of kapterit parish,mutushet SubCounty in Bukwo district .

According to Fredmark Chesang the police spokesperson Sipi region the incident occurred between the night hours of Wednesday 19/10/2022 and Thursday 20/10/2022.

Chesang revealed that two suspects have been arrested to help in investigations adding that a preliminary report reveals that the deceased person was suspected to be a witch.

He  appealed to the members of the public not to take the law into their hands.
