A Boda Boda cyclist (Motorcycle) today (Monday) rammed into President Museveni’s convoy injuring three people in the process.

The incident occurred along the northern bypass at Ssentema with a boda boda rider that was carrying two other passengers .
According to eye witnesses, the Boda cyclist and the passengers have since been rushed to Mulago and Mengo hospitals for medical attention.

The Special Forces Command(SFC) spokesperson, Maj Dennis Omara confirmed the incident saying they are monitoring the medical condition of the three injured people in a bid to offer financial assistance to cater for the medical bills.

Mr Omara warned motorists against disrespecting   the presidential convoy and its right of way.

Under the Traffic and Roads Safety Act,  and the Highway Code, the presidential convoy has  a right of way.
