BCU starts survey of all its land

Bugisu Cooperative Union has began surveying all its land where it has built primary societies.
The development follow a rise in land grabbing which is greatly affecting the Union.
Whiile speaking at some of their ongoing zonal meetings at Magale Catholic Church yesterday (Sunday 02nd -Sept-2022) ,Nathan Nandala Mafabi, the chairman BCU told several coffee farmers that a lot of their land at primary societies has been grabbed by unscrupulous people.
Nandala said they are working with district land boards to survey the land as soon as they can.
Samuel Mataya, one of the farmers at Magale primary society under BCU expressed his happiness with the move saying that this is going to save BCU primary society land.
