Police in Bulambuli District are investigating a case of suicide after a 65-year-old man was found hanging dead with a rope around his neck in a store nearby the factory he has been working as a guard.

The deceased, Matsanga William 65yrs, a peasant was a resident of buwanyanga village,buwanyanga sub county in bulambuli district where the incident occurred yesterday (Monday ) 16th May 2022.

Wekesa Richard the area LC 1 chairman, after a tip off from area residents reported the matter to police.

The Elgon Region Police Spokesperson, Rogers Taitika said detectives visited the scene, picked the body and took it to Muyembe health Center IV for post-mortem as investigations continue.
